Hello, and thank you for coming to Topmoving.ca to find an answer to your question! While Topmoving.ca cannot give you any specific information regarding individual moving services, I’m happy to point you in the right direction so you can put any concerns about your potential moving company to rest.
A good place to begin is to check with the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM), a national trade organization for the moving and storage industry. CAM is comprised of leading movers as well as major van lines and international movers in Canada, and provides training to members, customer referrals and industry networking. You can read CAM’s code of ethics here, and find out what moving companies are members of CAM here. You can also find other useful resources on CAM’s website like the Consumer Affairs Handbook.
You should also check to see if your potential mover is validated with the Better Business Bureau. If you are moving internationally, check back to our guide on common mistakes during an international move to avoid any mishaps.
I hope I have helped answer your question, and good luck with your move! |
