Get Your Haunted Canada Stamps for Halloween

via PixabayThe Canada Post has released its second edition of Haunted Canada stamps, featuring five new designs. The first Haunted Canada booklet was released in 2014, and the last set is due in September of 2016.

Each booklet comes with 10 stamps, 32mm by 32mm. The packaging is just as spooky as the stamps themselves, featuring an ominous raven perched on a tree under a full moon. The stamps included in the booklet are designed with a holographic foil finish, making each frightening image stand out even more. One of the permanent stamps features the Headless Brakeman of Vancouver in Gastown, Canada's most haunted neighbourhood. Another depicts a creepy ox cart travelling down an abandoned Manitoba road on a red, moonlit night. There is also a stamp featuring a woman from Quebec who was convicted of murdering her husband; her soul terrorizes anyone who travels the road on which her executed body was hung in a cage. Another popular design depicts a haunted hotel in Yukon. The last design features the grieving Grey Lady, who is said to haunt the halls of the spooky Halifax Citadel.

According to the Canada Post's website, this frightening stamp booklet will only cost you around $8.50. These are the perfect stamps to use for domestic mail to friends and family, especially if you're notifying them of your recent move. Nothing says "come visit our new home" like a ghostly stamp and a moving postcard. Happy haunting!
