Dogs are human’s best friends, so it’s no surprise we want to try and take them to work. So the people at
Pet Sitters International (PSI) created this day to celebrate companion dogs. They also hoped this day would encourage adoptions from local shelters. Take Your Dog to Work Day was first started in 1996 in the United Kingdom ad later in 1999 in the United States. Today, it is celebrated in Australia, New Zealand and here in
Canada! Take Your Dog to Work day usually takes place the Friday after Father’s day. According PSI’s website, an estimated 300 business participate in the celebration of Bring Your Dog to Work Day Here are 10
