Sexiest Prime Minister on the Planet

Our jealous American friends cannot stop talking about Justin Trudeau. Born to a prime minister, Justin Trudeau assumed his place in office a little over a year ago. However, his celebrity status sometimes eclipses Trudeau’s stances, and the Canadian honeymoon period is waning. People recently published their “Sexiest Man Alive” issue, and Vogue included our prime minister on their list of unconventional alternatives. Why do Americans love him so much?

Youth
Trudeau turns 45 this Christmas, so he seems like an infant compared to America’s president-elect Donald Trump, aged 70. The millennial generation, growing in ranks, leans to the extreme left, and they typically vote for candidates who employ social media and spotlight civil rights. Young politicians like Trudeau actively engage topics that older opponents skirt around or ignore completely.

Intelligence
Trudeau taught elementary and high school before sliding into politics. He used both of his bachelor degrees (Literature and Education) to positively influence Canadian youth, working in both public and private sectors and instructing vastly different subjects (math, English, French, humanities, and drama). Trudeau’s intellectual exploits make him impossibly charming and only further the universal adoration from our southern neighbors.

Feminism
Trudeau outwardly refers to himself as a feminist. He believes all progressives should embrace the term to remove its stigma.  Trudeau told Vox, “I will keep saying that until there is no more reaction to that when I say it, because that’s where we want to get to.” Canadians patiently await actions that match the prime minister’s very vocal public persona. Hopefully, Trudeau took his first step towards reforming women’s rights with his appointment of a gender-equal cabinet. Now let's see more!

Fatherhood
The Trudeau clan consists of wife Sophie and three young children (Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien); they travel abroad and entertain world leaders as a collective whole. Trudeau models his parenting style after his dad's. Because Justin experienced childhood while his father was in office, he has a unique take on the intersection between personal life and political responsibilities. Both Trudeaus prioritize a balance between work and family - admirable for any career.

Beauty

Let’s get straight to the point... Justin Trudeau is very attractive. Women (and men) of all generations appreciate his toned body, sparkling blue eyes, and fabulous head of hair. Although Vogue placed him on the unconventional list, we speculate that was to emphasize his achievements over his boyish good looks. We appreciate that. Thanks, Vogue!
