| I would not recommend anyone to this company. If you are looking for moving help, the owner Edward is a crook, quotes a maximum price over the phone, and then has the nerve to ask for more at the end of the move. He even changes the per hour pricing, because he added in an extra mover... and let me tell you the 5 movers that helped are useless and couldn't tie their own shoes without the owner approval. Pretty sad considering moving isn't that complicated of a job. First off, some of my stuff was damaged (a large picture frame, my couch was scraped damaging the leather in two areas, and also scraped the door frame of a brand new place I am renting). Secondly the owner decides that my couch won't fit through the door, so he leaves it in the lobby. What a joke! And says oh we can come back tomorrow and try to bring it up with ropes over the balcony. Nobody does that in the 21st century, so at this point I'm in a bind, but I do find someone else that was able to bring the couch through the door no problem. Not sure what this guys issue was, maybe just lazy... or incapable of seeing that you need to bring certain pieces of furniture in on an angle, because these other two guys that brought my couch in did it no problem without issue. This tells me this guy was just trying to get more money out of me, as he was requesting an additional $240 to use ropes to bring the couch over the balcony, what a clown. Awful experience! |
