Long Distance Move
Greenland Van Lines
The whole move process was outstanding from start to finish. To be honest it was my wife who had the idea to call and get an estimate, I was determined to do it myself. After meeting with Jim from Green Land, I felt very comfortable with the plan for the move. His guys on the loading end were nice, polite and hard working. The truck arrived to our new move site ahead of schedule and again the guys were absolutely great. Trust means a lot in the service industry and the estimated price was reduced to the actual weight (very impressed). I am in the Real Estate business and will highly recommend the services of GREEN LAND VAN LINES..

I dont even know where to start
Amadeus Moving
Never use this company ...They have no given address and no given owner. Sometimes he calls himself Mark sometimes Adam sometimes Jeff. They are always late and have every excuse in the book. They throw your stuff around and dont handle anything with care at all. They change name and number ( which are all cell phones ) every few months. They have horrible ratings on BBB website. Once you pay them which is often 5 times what you where quoted youll never hear from them again. I wouldnt use them to move my garbage bins.

About Quebec

Quebec is a province in east-central Canada. It is the only province that has a predominantly French-speaking population and the only one to have French as its official language.

French language forms the cultural background of the province. The core principle of the Quebec culture is art and music. Residents enjoy museums and public libraries for free or a small cost. The province holds many festivals and cultural events which are easily accessible to residents.

Quebec has one of the largest fresh water reserves in the world, covering almost 12 percent of Quebec's surface area. The province has approximately 4,500 rivers and more than half a million lakes.

Quebec's highest point is Mont d'Iberville, at 1,652 metres and is located on the border with Newfoundland and Labrador in the northeastern part of the province. The landscape of Quebec is low-lying and flat, except for the Monteregian Hills, which were formerly covered by Lake Champlain.

The province has rich biodiversity and offers an array of flora and fauna. Due to its differing climates, there are many large areas of vegetation throughout Quebec.

As of January 2015, Quebec had a labour force of 4,329 people with 3,976 people employed. The province's unemployment rate was 8.1 percent. Quebec's most productive sectors include: aerospace, finance, transportation, information technology and more.

The United States is a major source of imports and a destination for exports. As of 2008, approximately 72 percent of Quebec's products were exported to United States. Major products exported in 2010 include aluminum, airplanes, paper, airplane parts, copper and other alloys.

Quebec is an affordable province and the cost of living is quite low. In 2013 the average housing cost was $263,806 CAD ($211,061 USD). The minimum hourly wage in Quebec in 2013 was $10.35 CAD and the average weekly wage was $830.44 CAD. The average annual wage in 2010 for a university degree at or above a bachelor's was $60,250 CAD.

Quebec's healthcare system provides free universal medical and healthcare to all its residents. This system has public funding and in 2010 amounted to 45 percent of expenditures. Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec or RAMQ are offered to any resident temporary or permanent and covers essential medical care and hospitalization services.

Education is free of charge for all Quebec residents from kindergarten to college. The public school system is language-based in either English or French. Quebec has nine universities offering higher education. School attendance is compulsory for all children from ages six to 16 and the school year begins at the end of August or early September and usually finishes before June 24.
