Be warned, this isn't for the faint of heart! The English Bay Polar Bear Swim has been a tradition since 1920 when brave people plunge into the icy waters of Vancouver's English Bay.
If you're up for it, you can also partake in the 100-metre race in memory of the Swim's founder Peter Pantages. Creativity is encouraged so wear a costume!
TIP: Stay clothed until RIGHT before the plunge and don't stay in the water longer than 15 minutes.
