Environment Canada Says Coming Spring Will Be Warmest in Awhile

Planning a move to Canada? You'll be pleased to know the famously frigid region will be seeing unseasonably high temperatures this spring, according to Environment Canada.
Canada set to have record-warm spring in 2016
After a relatively mild winter due to El Nino, unusually high temperatures are expected through April and May in most of Canada, except Labrador and Northern Quebec.
Senior Climatologist Dave Phillips told
CTV News Channel that Environment Canada is predicting above-average conditions to continue.
"We're showing the conditions for spring as being warmer than normal," Phillips said. "The personality, temperature-wise, is going to be downright balmy."
The Weather Network also expects a "warm spring from coast to coast" However, the network expects Newfoundland and Labrador, northern Quebec, and Nunavut to experience normal spring weather.
