Packing jewellery can be a complicated and confusing process. To avoid unwanted tangles and lost accessories, utilize these five hacks to help transport your valuables quickly and easily.
Zip top bags
Place individual pieces of jewellery in mini zip top bags. Simply toss these smaller bags into one larger bag and your jewellery is good to go!
Pill bottlesHave an empty pill bottle on hand? Place rings and earrings inside! Not only does the bottle seal easily to prevent lost accessories, but it's a sneaky place to hide valuable jewellery.
Index cards
An index card is great for holding your earring collection. Simply punch the earring through the index card and re-secure the back to ensure they don't go anywhere. Store your index card with your other jewellery.
Vitamin cases/ice cube traysDaily vitamin reminder cases and ice cube trays are perfect for storing individual pieces of jewellery. Vitamin cases are great because they have built in lids, but ice cube trays work in a pinch. Seal your jewellery in the ice cube tray with a layer of cling wrap.
Drinking strawsAvoid tangled necklaces by feeding the chains through drinking straws. Claps the ends together and your done. All that's left is to add the straw wrapped necklaces into your jewellery travel bag or large zip top bag for transport!
