Are you hosting a holiday get-together and running short on time time to turn your home into a festive wonderland? Check out these creative DIY ideas to decorate your home quickly and easily!

Make your own snow

Not a white Christmas? Add some holiday atmosphere in your home by creating fake snow. Fill a bowl with baking soda and add up to one can of shaving cream until the mixture becomes the same texture as soft, powdery snow. You can even add glitter to give your snow extra sparkle. Use the concoction to sprinkle on your tree, mantle, or holiday table set-up. This is a great decorating project for kids because it cleans up easy!

Make a wreath from festive cookie-cutters
Throw together a last-minute decorative wreath for your entryway with metal cookie cutters in fun holiday shapes like stars, trees, snowflakes, and Santas. Attach the cookie cutters in a circular shape using paperclips and adhesive, and add a colourful bow.

Get creative with ornaments
Christmas ornaments aren't just for your your tree. Create a sparkly mobile and hang them over your dining table from your chandelier. Set them atop glass candle sticks for a unique table centerpiece. You can even drape beaded garland from your curtain rods and hang colourful trinkets from them. Get creative!
