2016 is the year for
travel. With a favorable exchange rate and low gas prices, cities all over Canada are expected to see a boost in tourism this summer.
To prepare travellers both domestic and international, TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals picked out the ten most affordable Canadian cities to visit.
They based the study on the price to rent a two-bedroom house for a week and broke it down by day, per person for four people. The prices range from $28 per person, per night in Ottawa to $60 per night in Vancouver.
The best part of a rental--you get all of the amenities and comforts of being at home, for less than the cost to stay in a hotel. So, whether you're flying in from overseas, or staying local, you can keep your lodging expenses pretty low by renting in these cities. You'll even have more money to spend on your vacation activities.
