Canadian Authorities are Looking for this Moose Rider

VANCOUVER, BC - A video showing a man jumping off a boat and onto the back of a moose is currently being investigated by Canadian authorities, CBC News reported.

The 1:05 video, shows a man jumping off a boat and onto the back of a moose that is wading through the unnamed lake. He cheers and throws his hand up in the air in celebration as he begins to ride the moose for a few seconds before falling or sliding off the moose's back.

British Columbia conservation officials have launched an investigation after the video was posted on YouTube Saturday, June 20. David Vince, a conservation officer with the B.C. Ministry of the Environment stated there is a law against harassing wildlife and that the video shows "the ultimate form of harassment."

"You can see the fright in her eyes," Vince told CBC News.

Vince stated he believes the incident took place last July on Tuchodi Lakes in Northern Rocky Mountains Provincial Park, though that information hasn't been confirmed.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call 1-877-952-7277.
